31日の夜、いきなりパソコンが壊れました！！なんとかサポートセンターに電話をして直してもらいましたが原因もわからず、心配でなりません。そんな私たちは大阪に来たのをよいチャンスと考えて、アップルストアに来ました。今相談中です。

Last Night in Hokkaido 北海道最後の夜

We packed every thing! Yeahhh!!
Our last dinner was Crabs in Hokkaido. We went to nice restrant. It was derithos!
And we could sall the car. I hope thay like and enjoy it:)

荷物を全部積み込めました！やったぁ！！
北海道最後の食事はカニでした。ちょっといいお店に行ってきたんです。おいしかったぁ！
それに、車も売れました。気に入って、大事に乗ってくれるといいなぁ！

Last Trip/Biei and Furano 最後の旅行／美瑛・富良野

Our last trip in Hokkaido, we went to Furano and Biei. We ate a potato lunch in a kettle-burning restaurant, and then we went to Blue River in Biei. I always wanted to go; it is near the Sirogane onsen in Biei. The Blue River is really blue, I heard because hot spring's organic component is in this rver. I wanted to go down to the river, but it was quite difficult, I thought.
In Furano, we ate three soft creams at the Downhil Soft-Cream shop. When we went to Furano, we always went to go there. Fresh Cream Soft Milk! Also, we went to Lavender feeld when first time visit in Furano we went to there. On the way we saw the flower feld and ate potato too.
In the night, we saw the Firewarks. This is last Firewarks we can see in Hokkaid, I'm glad we could see the glate Firewarks in Hokkaido.

北海道最後の旅行として美瑛・富良野に行ってきました。美瑛では、駅前の釜焼きレストランでジャガイモ料理を堪能し、ずっと行きたかった白金温泉にあるブルーリバーを見て来ました。ブルーリバーは、本当に川が青くなっていて、温泉の成分が川に流れ出しているからこのようになるそうです。川までおりてみたかったのですが難しそうでした。
富良野では、だうんひるソフトクリームを３つも食べて、来ました。富良野に来ると必ずと言っていいほどくる場所で生クリームのソフトがふんわりと口にとろけます！初めての富良野旅行のときに行ったラベンダー畑にもいってきました。帰りに、花畑を見てきて、ここでも美瑛のジャガイモを頂いてきました。
夜は、花火大会を見に行って来ました。最後の花火がとっても豪華で北海道最後の花火が見れてよかったです。

Pakking 荷造り

It was our big thing conveyance day today. My friends take out Refrigerator, Washer, China cabinet and Futon thease things, our room sems giding bigger now.
When I came buck from my work Bob was kindry more then usual, cos he jast did separet our things for need or won't and then room was more then messy from this morning. I hope he take out garbeges it was help me to pakking. but he try about clening!
And then when he go to ferawel party, I take garbege and pakking in 5 ours. But I still aferade we can make time.

今日は、荷物運搬の一日。冷蔵庫・洗濯機・食器棚・布団等々大きな荷物が次々と友人たちの手に渡り部屋があっという間に広くなってしまいました。
仕事から帰るとなんだかいつもより少し優しいBobさんは、片付けが苦手なのかいるものといらないものを分けるのが精一杯で、私は朝よりも荷物の散らかった部屋に迎えられました・・・ゴミなどを捨てれば分けていてもらった分荷造りはしやすかったですが。その分お掃除を頑張ってくれました！
そして、彼が送別会に行っている間にゴミ捨て、荷造りを５時間ぶっ通しで頑張りました。それでも間に合うのか不安です・・・

The Farewell 送別会

Today was my farewell party. I got medals from my kids and they put them around my nek, and the parents gave me a farewell DVD. in my kindergalten. I'm glod it was about my kids so I can keep memoly in my honds! When until this morning i still didn't feel I will finish job, but when I leave with my kids I was cry a lot .
At night, we did farwel party for me and one of co-werkre; she will finish too by my kindergarten. I got many plesent and glate time from my co-werkers. I hope I can work kindergarten more longer.

And, I got snug my graduation kids and my kids I tout last year and these parents.


今日は別会でした。幼稚園では、子ども達がメダルを首に掛けてくれて、お母さんたちが作ってくれたDVDをプレゼントにもらいました！子ども達の様子が記念として手元に残りとても嬉しかったです！当日の朝まで退職するという実感は無かったのですが、子ども達と別れるときになって急に涙があふれてきて号泣してしまいました。
夜には、私と一緒に退職する職員も含めて送別会を開いていただいて仲の良い同僚達からお祝いしてもらいました。もっと幼稚園で働いていきたかったなと思います。

卒園児や昨年度受け持った子ども達やお母さんがたからも温かい言葉をもらってとても嬉しかったです！

About Procedure 手続きなど

We didn't finish packing, we have to finish until July 31 because we will go to one of my parent's parent's homes, so we need to do the necessary steps, but we are not ready.
We have to

☆ make city bank account at post office
☆ sending to packages
☆ procedures to finish job
☆ change of address form

I know we need these thing, but we didn't start yet.
I'm afraid I forgot something.


荷物がまだ片付いていません…7月31日に実家へ行く予定なのでそれまでに全ての手続きを済ませておかないといけないのに、困ってます。
今の予定では、

☆　ライフラインの解約（日にちは予約はしています）
☆　国民健康保険への切り替え(海外にいくのでその手続きをするかどうか・・・)
☆　国民年金の手続き(これも、海外にいくのでその手続きをするかどうか・・・)
☆　国際運転免許証の取得
☆　転出・転入手続き
☆　郵便局でシティーバンクを作る
☆　郵便物の引っ越して続き
☆　荷物の搬送
☆　退職にあたっての手続きは無いか

等の手続きを予定していますが、いずれも手をつけていません。
しかも、何か忘れていそうで恐いです。

A Coincidence 偶然

My kindergarten has exhibition teaching. I didn't teach because I didn't have classes.
Each teacher of the kindergarten came to study, my friends came too, so I had a chance to see them again. I was lucky!
Regarding the exhibition teaching, we got a favorable review.

幼稚園で公開保育という行事がありました。私は、担任ではないので公開保育はしませんでした。
各幼稚園の先生が勉強にきた中に私の友達もいて、渡米前に偶然会うことができてラッキーでした！
公開保育の方は、好評で沢山のお褒めの言葉を頂いたそうです。

My Friend 友達

Yesterday was a happy day for me. We met my best friend. She drove three hours from her home just to meet us!!! ! We ate nice Yakiniku and we went to Karaoke. Those were fun things to do. I didn't go to Karaoke since last year. Bob chose a few of my songs; he knew what kind of songs I like. I hope this is not the last time to meet my friend!

昨日、私の親友に会うことが出来て私にとってとても素敵な日でした。私たちに会う為だけに、ここから3時間も車を運転してきてくれました。美味しい焼肉やさんに一緒にいって一年ぶりのカラオケも行きました。Bobが私の好きな曲を知っていてくれていろいろと選んでくれました。今回が最後ではなくて、又会えることを楽しみにしています！

Bob enjoy about iPot by music! He love music!
I'm glad he can get iPod and Mac. He can study about these things and enjoy!

ボブはiPotをかなり活用しています。音楽！
本当にiPotとMacを使えてよかったです。楽しむことはできますし、使い方を覚えたりできます。

Ageain! また！

Again!! My special dentist took out my tooth! This time it hurts so-so. I look like a different person.
The doctor said, "Your face will look like a marshmellow for the next week.". Ohhhhh!

また！歯を抜いてきました。今回は、かなり痛いです。まるで違う人の顔のように腫れました。
先生は来週ぐらいまでこの状態が続くだろうと・・・うぅぅ

Festival お祭り

We went to a Japanese festival. I wore a red Yukata.
The festival was on a long street and many people were there.
We met our students and a lost child. We were walking with the child to a police station calling out, "We have a lost child!" Finally, we found the girl's aunt! Then, we went back to the festival. We got nice Okonomiyaki and beer and meat, etc.

赤い浴衣を着てお祭りに行ってきました。
お祭りはとても長い通りでやっていて沢山の人がきていました。
私たちは自分たちの生徒にあったんですが、迷子にも会いました。交番に行く道すがら「お母さんはどこですかぁ」と叫びながら歩きました。女の子のおばさんにも会って無事戻ることができました。それから、私たちはお好み焼きやビールやお肉などを食べながらお祭りを楽しみました！

2nd day 2日目

We tried to watch the rising sun. But the sky was cloudy. Instead, we went to a cape in the morning. It was a beautiful sight.
Then we went to Rebun by ferry. We went up the mountain. It has many wildflowers, so we shot many pictures. We were just in Rebun for 3 hours. Ihad hoped we could have stayed longer. It was a fun weekend!

朝日を見に行きましたが、曇り空でした。かわりに朝のうちに岬に行ってきました。とってもきれいな景色でした。それから、フェリーで礼文に行きました。山に登って沢山の野草に囲まれ、沢山の写真を撮ってきました。礼文にはたったの3時間しかいませんでした。出来ればもっと長くいたかったです。とても楽しい週末でした。

1st day

We went to Rishiri and Rebun! Rishiri was on the 1st day. The first we did, was eat sea urchin from the shell. It was moveing! We touched it.
We hired a little motorbike. Then we went to go around the island. We saw a crowd of Japanese gulls, lovely wildflowers, and a nature pond . Besides that, we went up Rishirifuji Mountain. It was misty, so we couldn't see much scenery.That was unlucky. I hope we had our coats because, Rishiri has a very strong wind!
We stayed at Hotel Soleil. This hotel was very good for us. Sweet dinner! Many sea urchins and crab legs and six different types of fish that were all yummy.

利尻と礼文に行ってきました！まず、一日目は利尻です。着いてすぐに生きているウニを殻つきで食べました。新鮮でおいしい！触ってもいたくなかったです。
カブを借りて島一周をしてきました。たっくさんの海猫が群れをなしていたのやかわいらしい野草や自然のままの池など満喫してきました。利尻富士にも登ってきたんですよ。霧がかかっていましたけど・・・残念です。今度は、上着持参で行きます。バイクで利尻はかなり寒かったです。
夜はホテルソレイユに泊まりました。とても親切でよかったですよ。なにより晩ご飯がとってもおいしかったです。ウニやカニのほかに六種の海産物をいただきました。おいしいいいいい！

iPod アイポッド

We got an iPod. This week, we are becoming quite the computer nerds.
Like; how to use, What kind of thing "this" can do , etc.

iPodを手に入れました。最近の私達は、まるでオタッキー
使い方や何が出来るんだろうと・・・

So, we will go to Rishiri, I think this blog won't update tomorrow. Sorry.
きっと利尻ではブログの更新が出来ないと思います。ごめんなさい。

We'll go on a trip 旅行

We Will go to Rishiri on 15th! They're two islands off of northern Hokkaido. We found a hotel today.
We tried last year to stay at the Greenwood Hotel in Rishiri. But, since we were busy, we cancelled.
Even though it's the most popular time to go there and almost all of the hotels were full, a nice lady helped us at the last minute.
The Greenwood Hotel helped me to find the hotel. That stuff was very nice, I hope we can stay there, ut, on this trip, we won't be able to..
I think my friends say, "This is typical Aya" because, everything is last minute.
Oh, I forgot to tell you, We have a new digital camera too. So, I think we can get nice pictures from now on..
I hear Rishiri is at a very beautiful time now!! Flowers, delicious sea urchin eggs. Ohhh.

I hope I can give you Rishiri updates. We'll see:)

１５日に利尻に行くことになりました！
去年、利尻島のホテルグリーンウッドに宿泊しようとしたのですが、時間の都合が合わずキャンセルをしました。
今日いきなりですが、利尻の宿をゲットでき、かなりラッキーです。島全体が満室でした。
ホテルグリーンウッドの方がとっても親切に宿探しを手伝ってくれました。泊まりたかったです。くやしいなぁ
友達は、「Ayaらしい！」というと思います。なぜなら、私は、いつも取りかかりかが遅いものですから・・・
あぁ、そういえば新しくデジタルカメラも買いました。きっと今度の旅行でいい写真が撮れると思います。
利尻はとっても奇麗な所だとみんながお進めしていました。花、おいしいウニ。うぅ

今度利尻でのエピソードがのせられるといいと思います！

We bought Apple computer!! MacBook:)
But, we didn't use it yet. We had trouble... We can't connect to the Internet.
I can't read English, Bob can't read computer words.

昨日、マックブックを買いました。やったー!!

Minami High School Jazz Club 南高校ジャズ部

I went tothe Minami High School festival yesterday.
Bob helped theMinami High School Jazz Club by being the drummer for half of the songs.
Some students just started playing jazz four months ago. Most students never tried the music before they started. I was so suprised by their nice sound.
The Jazz club got a nice stage using the front of the school. Many people listened to the music in the parking lot. I enjoyed it too!
Infact, my kindergarteners were there. This boy and girl has a cousin in the jazz band! It's a small world.

南高校の文化祭に行ってきました。
ボブが南高校のジャズ部で助っ人としてドラムをしにいったんです。
ジャスをしている生徒達はジャズを始めてったったの4ヶ月の子もいました。殆んどの子は、クラブに入るまで楽器を扱ったことが無いそうです！とっても驚きました。
当日は、学校の正面というとてもいい位置に陣取って、沢山のお客さんに音楽を楽しんでもらっていました。もちろん私も楽しみました。
ちなみに、私の幼稚園の子も聞きに来ていました。いとこがいるそうです。世間は狭いですねぇ

Sushi 寿司

My husband's name is Bob. Sushi is delicious. Bob and I like it veeerrrry much.
How about you?

Bob told a funny story; when he ate sushi for the first time, he thought wasabi was an appetizer.
So, he ate it all in one bite. Can you imagine?
It was like he got a hot needle through his head!! Ouch

But, now he loves sushi and wasabi too.

Bobは、面白い話をしてくれました。彼が初めてお寿司を食べたとき、山葵を前菜と思ったんですね。
思いっきり一口で山盛りの山葵を食べたそうです。予想通り。
まるで頭を熱い針がつきぬけたようだったとか!! うぅぅぅ

それでも今は、お寿司と山葵の大ファンです。

The Star Festival 七夕

Today is the Star Festival. I went to the planetarium with my kindergarteners.
This science museum was built last year and is not just a planetarium; adults can enjoy its experiences.
So, now it's Summer constellation time, we saw the Scorpion; the Koto, Orihime; the eagle, Hikoboshi and the Swan.
Today's weather wasn't good, but Hokkaido will have the Star Festival on August 7th, I think Orihime can meet Hikoboshi next month.

今日は、七夕です。幼稚園の子供達とプラネタリウムに行ってきました。
昨年新しく出来た子供科学館は、プラネタリウムのほかにも色々と体験できるものがあり大人も楽しめます。
夏の星座ということで、さそり座と琴座（織姫）とわし座（彦星）と白鳥座を見てきました。
今日はあいにくの天気でしたが、北海道は8月7日が七夕祭り来月のには織姫も彦星と会えることでしょう。

結婚にあたって必要とした資料など私のケースでお教えしますね。
まず、結婚手続きを日本でするかアメリカでするかを選んでください。私の場合お互いに日本に住んでいたため、日本での入籍を選びました。また、日本での結婚のほうがアメリカでの結婚よりも簡単でした。

入籍に必要な資料

婚姻届（二人の承認サインが要ります。私は両親にお願いしました。）
日本人の住民票
日本人の戸籍

（ここで注意しておくのが､住民票と戸籍は必ずしも一箇所の市役所では取れないということです。戸籍の場合本籍地での入手が原則の為各市役所に問い合わせをした上で郵送か代理人による受け取りなどを選んでください。）

しかし、入籍といっても外国籍の配偶者に日本の戸籍が与えられるわけでは在りません。日本人が筆頭者となり外国籍の配偶者と結婚した事実が記入されるわけです。

このとき、氏名の変更も同時に申請できます。しかし、氏名の変更については、賛否両論在るようですので、色々と経験者の話を参考に決められることをお勧めします。ちなみに私は夫の氏名をカタカナ表記で使っています。

Preparation time 準備期間

In my case, I did visa preparations around January 2006. And then I went to the Tokyo Japanese U.S.A. Embassy in May 2006. I was slow to prepare the stuff. But you need to get a few documents and information, so I recommend to start early. Also, I married March 2006 in Japan. Yeaaaaaa.

私の場合、準備を始めたのは2006年1月からでした。そして、東京の在日アメリカ大使館に行ったのが2006年5月。準備はのんびりしていました。でもいくつかの関係資料や情報集めなどに時間が取られるので早めがお勧めです。ちなみに、結婚は2006年3月に日本でしました。

You have two ways to get a visa to go to the U.S.A. Like for travel, studying and for living in the U.S.A. I got my immigration visa for living. Some people ask lawyers, but I got it myself. I did it cheaply by doing it early. Using time nicely is better than spending more money, maybe.

I think you need opportunities to talk with somebody. That's important. Use English.

I heard tooth dentist is expensive in America. Because, the insurance. I'm afraid to fix my tooth in the U.S.A., but I know American doctors are better then Japanese doctors. I hesitated to get out my wisdom tooth.
Eventually, I went to my tooth dentist. Then he pulled out my two wisdom teeth.

アメリカの歯科って保険の関係で高くなるみたいですね。アメリカで歯を治してもらうか迷っていたんです。アメリカのお医者さんのほうが日本より上手だと聞きますし。
でも、結局はかかり付けの歯医者さんで治してもらうことにしました。二本の親知らずを抜いてきました。

Today, I went to the Zoo. This zoo is famous in Japan.
I think you heard about it. It's named Asahiyama Zoo. Do you know it?
Recently, this zoo is crowded. It was crowded today also.
I saw penguins, polar bears, seals, lions, etc.

今日、動物園に行って来ました。日本では有名な動物園です。
一度は聞いた事があるかと思います。旭山動物園です。
最近は、結構人気で今日も沢山の人が来ていました。
ペンギンや白熊やアザラシ、ライオンなど見てきましたよ。

Today was BBQ day. I went to a big park.
My friends made BBQ.
I played Frisbee.
I didn't know tricks can be done; like throwing it to the ground and it jumps up. Awesome.
And, I got some flowers. So, I made a wreath.

友達が料理をしてくれて、私はフリスビーです。

Move 引越し

When people move, you need to take care of some stuff.
Now, my most important thing is my car. I wan't to sell the car. So, I cleaned up the car yesterday; made it look good.
It was a hot day. I think it was good exercise for me.

引越しをするときって色々気に掛かることがありますよね。
私の場合は、車です。車を売りたいと思っていて、昨日洗車をしました。少しでもきれいに見えるように。。。
すごく暑い日でしたが、良い運動になりました。

Where I live. 住んでいる所

Have you ever been to Japan?
I live in 43degrees N, 142degrees E. Here, there is much snow and it's cold in winter time.
In fact, now is the best time to enjoy here. Pretty flowers and beautiful sky and go around in a mini Cooper! I love them!
I miss Japan already. Before I leave, I hope to try a hot spring!

日本に来た事がありますか？
私は、北緯43度, 東経142度、冬には大雪と寒さが厳しいところに住んでいます。
今は一番良い季節で、綺麗な花や素敵な空、そしてMINIでドライブ！お気に入りです。
今から日本が恋しいです。渡米前に温泉に行けるといいな。。。
